The most fun festivals you can still go to this summer
That you're at a festival in July, soaring with happiness, hoping it never ends and thinking: was this my last one this year? No way, of course. Because we still have August and September and we're not going home anytime soon. That's why we've gathered the parties where you definitely want to dance a little longer.
Milkshake Festival
July 27-28, Amsterdam
Dance with the most beautiful paradise birds in Westerpark. Sold out, but maybe there's still a ticket to arrange via TicketSwap. Milkshake Festival says it itself: this is the only official partner.
Dekmantel Festival
July 31 – August 4, Amsterdam
The finest beats in Amsterdamse Bos, there are still camping tickets available.
Solar Weekend
August 1-4, Roermond
Set up your tent by the Maasplassen in Roermond for a weekend of Solar. The festival is also celebrating its anniversary with an impressive line-up. Think: Fedde le Grand, La Fuente, Bizzey, Kraantje Pappie and many, many more.
Paradigm Festival
August 9-11, Groningen
Paradigm is not a festival, Paradigm is a feeling. An upcoming party you don't want to miss in Groningen if you follow the electronic genre.
Loveland Festival
August 10-11, Amsterdam
Almost becoming a classic in Amsterdam's Sloterpark. From techno to house, it's just what you want. The last tickets are being sold as we speak.
Apple juice
August 10, Amsterdam
History in Flevopark, because The Opposites are making an Appelsap-only comeback and Lil Kleine is stepping on stage with his friends.
STRAF_WERK Festival
August 17, Amsterdam
At Strafwerk, everything revolves around house, from party to festival. See you in Havenpark?
Lowlands (of course sold out)
August 16 – 18, Biddinghuizen
The festival of festivals, which always makes us a bit reverent. No tickets to be found, but who knows, you might get lucky.
Green Garden Festival
August 24, The Hague
Because not all good parties are in Amsterdam. The Green Garden Festival can be found at Malieveld where Vunzige Deuntjes, Het Paard and Whoosah come together.
Mysteryland
August 23 – 26, Haarlemmermeer
The giant of dance, with only big names. Hurry up, because the last Saturday tickets are being sold now.
Into The Great Wide Open
August 29 – September 1, Vlieland
Tent in tow and off to Vlieland, Into The Great Wide Open is a concept you must experience at least once. It's not just about art, the festival is also about music, films, peace and space. Something different this time.
Elrow Town
September 7, Amsterdam
This is high on my list. ‘Bigger, better, more chaos, more craziness’, can't wait. The festival has Havenpark in Amsterdam as its home base from this year.
Into The Woods (sold out)
September 13-14, Amersfoort
Okay, if you still want to go to this insane festival, then TicketSwap is the only right way. At the most beautiful location: in the open-air theater of Amersfoort. Don't be surprised if you encounter a forest gnome here and there.
Smeerboel
September 14, Utrecht
Sometimes you just need a smeerboel, right? For the best in the country, you have to be in Utrecht. With Benny Rodrigues, I Hate Models, De Sluwe Vos, Claptone and more. The feet will be off the floor.
Eilân
September 12-15, Terschelling
The festival that was so much talked about, but it's still going on. You have to be in Terschelling. It's just that I'm going on vacation, but I almost stayed home for it. With among others DJ Seinfeld, Mano Le Tough, Carista, Apparat and many, many, many more.
And don't be sad, because once you've ticked off these parties, it will almost be time for ADE again.
