The annoying little sentence that I suddenly say…

It makes no sense. You catch yourself ending every sentence the same way, you know? Total nonsense. Filler words are unnecessary additions, both in written text and in spoken word, you know? Before you know it, you're up to your ankles in the muck of a language trend. And I don’t want that at all, you know?
‘A filler word is an expression that a speaker regularly uses without attaching much meaning to it. This can be either a word or a phrase.’ Ah yes, exactly. I think that’s definitely the case. Because it doesn’t matter anymore whether I’m telling a story myself or listening to someone else’s, my new addiction can always come into play. You know? I randomly throw it in everywhere.
‘& Other Stories has a 70 percent sale on the website. Super dangerous, you know?’
‘I’m sooooo tired of this. GET IT?’
‘Look, shall we go cheese fondue tonight?’ Me: ‘Get it?!’
I think you get it now.
I think I understand myself a little less now.
Because I’m now Megan from Temptation Island.
In black.
You know.
