These are the beauty trends of 2019

What are we putting on our faces in 2019, what trends are still going strong, and what are we doing with our brows this year? These are the six beauty trends for a beautiful 2019.

Lip gloss

It's allowed again. My last gloss was bought in 2007 and smelled like an overly sweet blueberry aroma. But times have changed. Now I always have a Make-up Studio version in my touch-up bag. Glitter Gold. You want this one.

Natural lash volume

Fortunately, we have officially written off false eyelashes this year. For a natural eye look, you can work with aloe vera oil. Or you can ask your beautician for a lash lift.

Lilac hair

Strawberry blonde was the fruit color we dyed our hair last year. For 2019, we're going for blueberry-colored lilac in the foil.

Red eyeshadow

Do you have green or blue eyes? Then you should try working with copper tones, on your eyelids and also around the eye when you go to a party. Charlotte Tilbury has pictures of palettes in her collection.

Blush

I actually never use that. And now I realize why I have that orange tint. Blush for the rescue. Because that brings everything a bit into balance.

Messy eyebrow

Thank god those thin lines are long gone. And I'm also glad that the era of the ‘Insta-brow’ is over, because in 2019 we're going on the tour of our Maartje Verhoef. Brush your brows up nicely and voilà: you have a full, messy eyebrow.
