This is the most important thing when booking your vacation

I still like December (even very much, to the ridiculous), but I prefer to spend January and February with blinders on. The only thing that keeps me going is a vacation prospect. So on Boxing Day, you can picture me with the laptop on my lap searching for sunny places I want to visit in the new year. No matter how turbulent my choice of destinations can be (it varies from Efteling to a beach hut in Brazil), there is one constant factor and that is Booking.com, and here's why.
1. You can cancel up to a day in advance
2. It has everything. You might think of hotels only, but you can also book treehouses, an apartment in central London, or a cottage in Efteling with them.
3. Booking.com has the best photos. Often more and easier to find than the hotels themselves.
4. And the best deals. Often better than the hotel itself.
5. You have the Genius feature where if you book often with Booking.com, you get better deals like a free breakfast or a free room upgrade.
The app is very clear, you can see all your reservations in it. Long live the anticipation. You can also look back at what you have booked. That night on the way to Italy for example, when you were on your way to that wedding
in 2013. It is a collection of memories.
7. Through the site, you can book all sorts of extras like car rentals or other arrangements that make your stay more enjoyable.
8. Booking.com counts down with you. A few days in advance, you receive an email stating how many days are left until your vacation begins. Shared anticipation is double anticipation.
9. Our great travel friend is Dutch, isn't that nice?
