This will keep your skin beautiful and in top condition when you have to board the plane

When the airplane door closes and the ventilation system goes to extra dry mode, the lines in my forehead pop up. I even believe that if you threw a bucket of water against it, the cracks still wouldn't get hydrated. By the way, no one needs to take this as a challenge. But because we like to make a good impression, I pulled our skin expert Annelijn from Ireland (you know, from Skin Kliniek) to her sleeve. You can really benefit from that when you take off.
Your skin gets drier on a plane, you retain moisture more easily, and especially on a longer flight, circulation isn't as good as normal. Removing makeup, applying cream, and reapplying is part of our flying routine, but there's more you can do.
1. Actually, you only need to do one thing: apply cream well. It can just be a basic cream like cetomacrogol, but petroleum jelly works well too. Anything to keep your skin hydrated. Ideally, you do this a few times that day.
2. Of course, you can just use makeup, but it's less convenient due to the greasier creams. So keep it to your eyes.
3. For your hands: use a disinfecting gel, because airplanes are usually not very fresh.
4. Drink plenty of water. This is always necessary, but especially on the plane, it's extra important.
5. Your legs are just as important, especially if you suffer from varicose veins or easily retain fluid. Move your toes and take a little walk through the airplane now and then to ensure that the blood keeps flowing.
6. And are you flying to a sunny destination? Then pack a small tube of sunscreen in your carry-on, so you can apply it right away. Protecting your skin with SPF is number one in keeping your skin beautiful..
P.S.: Stay tuned, because soon Annelijn will tell you exactly what to do for your skin when you just got back from vacation.
P.P.S.: You can of course also just visit Annelijn for advice, just see what she can do for you.
