Those twelve square meters of my new room in Amsterdam had to be filled. Off to the thrift store, because you can say what you want, but those thrift store items have a story behind them. With her sense of vintage, my mom rummaged through the local thrift store and scored this cabinet for €16.50 on the head.

Bullseye, but still not finished. So I decided to make some small adjustments myself. I bought self-adhesive wrapping paper in marble print for €6.50 at Praxis. I used that to cover the tile that sits on the cabinet. I replaced the wooden knobs with brass handles. The seahorse is from Bijenkorf and the turtle comes from Sissy-Boy, both €7.50. So now I have a million dollar beauty cabinet for a total of €38, and I'm never getting rid of it.
