At the beginning of this year, I was oh-ing and ah-ing through the new Denham store in the Amsterdam Houthavens. I seriously slept restlessly for two nights because of their womenswear collection (which by the way is supposed to be in stores this week and I have my eye on their palm tree print dress, the linen overall, and the perfect festival shorts), but I also saw the jeans that I didn't even know I was looking for. Inquiries revealed that it was the Wide-leg Kelly. Tight on the backside, high at the waist (so cycling without plumber's cleavage), the most beautiful blue, and then that extremely wide cuff. I wear it with a sandal, with a pump, with a small heel, or my Isabel Marant sneaker. As long as you can see the bone at the bottom of your calf, I find everything suitable. I'm so old-fashioned happy with it that you just have to forgive me if you see me in it for a while. It's not that I don't have anything else, but that I don't want anything else.
