When I was eight, I flew to Greece for the first time, as we affectionately call Greece in the editorial office. I fell in love with the country, the Greeks, the food, and their turquoise from the very first second. I might have even been a bit enthusiastic; I wanted everything in that color. I flew back at least nine more times, and in September, I'm going again. A good habit of mine is to bring something back from a country I visit. Last year, I came home with a complete garden of local herbs, but I also once brought back an artistic design made of large shells and local wood. You have to see it; it's truly beautiful. And this year, I'm looking for something in that most beautiful turquoise again. But since patiently waiting is not my forte, I'm going to visit our friends at By1Oak. For this little ring in silver with a fine stone (yes, turquoise), I can look forward to the next trip every day.
