Tiny juice boxes, a little hat with Nijn, a soft blanket with stars, a baseball jacket, three cloths, the cutest little pants and onesies… You’re probably thinking: stop with the diminutives, but everything looked so small and so cute. What it was? The Carry Bag, intended for the very smallest on the run.

Our Danielle made a baby package for Because We Carry, an initiative by three Amsterdam women who felt they had to and wanted to do something when they saw the heartbreaking situation of mothers and babies on the island of Lesbos. Many refugees left everything behind and arrive with nothing, but we can do something. You can help for a week on Lesbos, you can donate, and you can make a Carry Bag like our Daan.
