The out-of-office worker

The people's friend
Your colleague who gets along well with the group and makes use of it. That colleague you think: have you really done nothing for your work by half past eleven and just drank coffee and talked? Okay, fine. Sometimes you want to click with the big boss, but you don't.
The worker
You think you finish your work quickly, there's always that one person who works fourteen hours over the weekend to just barely meet all deadlines three weeks in advance. Annoying sometimes. But yes, it's hard to say anything about it because work is being done. Sometimes you want to strangle her.
The joker
Always up for a silly joke or an inappropriate comment that's just on the edge. You get through the day with it.
The hottie
The one who looks so good at the office that you instantly feel insecure. The most beautiful clothes, the trendiest stuff; a model is nothing compared to them. Sometimes you want to be her.
The serious one
No time for small talk at the coffee machine, business needs to be discussed about corporate deals, meetings, and skills.
The brown-noser
The boss's buddy and the ultimate sycophant. Gets everything done, including that promotion you dream of and that lovely work-from-home day. But yes, this person knows how to find their way to the big boss.
The sneaky one
Always WhatsApping on the laptop so no one sees it. But you see it. Always shopping during work hours and you see that too. Always just a little later in, a bit longer break, a bit earlier out. Sneakily just working a little less than you, but no one notices.
The meddler
Always knows better. Even if they work in a completely different department, you know.
The party starter
She is the person who pours the wine on Friday at five o'clock. She invites everyone for a Christmas lunch, a Sinterklaas game, or a hysterical team outing with paintball and other awkward sports. Good for the atmosphere. The chatterbox.
She does work, but she also chats while working. About her whole life and everything she has and does. You know more about her father's dentist's divorce than you do about your own mother.
