Who is Ghislaine Maxwell, the best friend of Jeffrey Epstein?

Perhaps the question ‘where is she?’ is even more important. Ghislaine Maxwell, also known as Girlfriend Number One by the billionaire's household staff, played a unique role in the life of Jeffrey Epstein. But the most important woman and best friend of Epstein now seems to have disappeared from the face of the earth.
When you read and hear what Epstein (largely) got away with regarding underage girls, it sends shivers down your spine and you simply cannot understand how he was able to do this for so long. Ghislaine met him in the early nineties and quickly became Epstein's girlfriend. The relationship between the two lasted a few years, but it is said that she eventually became his best friend. Among Epstein's employees, she was known not only as Girlfriend Number One but also as the Mean Bitch and The Lady of the House, as she also managed his staff. And that is where it starts to get shady, as it seems that Maxwell also provided him with underage girls as a ‘fixer’.
The alleged victim Virginia Roberts Giuffre, then about 16 years old, says that Ghislaine approached her while she was working at a club owned by Donald Trump. From the very first meeting with sex offender Epstein, there was sexual abuse by him. Another victim says that Ghislaine Maxwell not only recruited but also ‘trained’ the girls and even participated in the abuse. In addition to the accusations from at least three victims against her, Ghislaine is also featured in the infamous photo where Virginia Roberts Giuffre is together with Prince Andrew is featured. After Maxwell publicly called her a liar, Virginia sued her for defamation and she won. It is said that Ghislaine had to pay her millions.
Where Ghislaine was once everywhere a welcome guest should be, she now seems to have disappeared. Sources initially said she lived in a remote beach villa in Massachusetts, about thirty kilometers from Boston. Which turns out not to be true. She is also not in the £1.5 million cottage in Belgravia in London, just a stone's throw from Buckingham Palace. Perhaps in that house in the English countryside then? No one knows where the woman who was always present everywhere has gone. For a moment, it seemed she was eating a burger in a diner around the date Epstein passed away, but later it turned out to be a cleverly crafted piece of Photoshop.
Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide on August 10 of this year in prison while awaiting his trial. He was charged with sexually abusing dozens of girls and human trafficking. He was behind bars in a place where taking one's own life was supposed to be nearly impossible, but it now appears that the security had dropped the ball significantly. There are also stories that many high-profile people benefited from the billionaire's silence. Despite the fact that Jeffrey Epstein can no longer stand trial himself, the prosecutor is not stopping here and promises that all possible parties involved will be investigated. And so will Ghislaine Maxwell, apparently the keeper of Epstein's Little Black Book where all the big names are listed.
