Whoopsie Daisy: these are the children's names that parents regret the most

Incredibly many lists you have viewed. Hours and hours and huuuurs of comparing, digging into the depths of the internet on the mommy sites, juggling with letters and suddenly you knew: this is the one. And then a few years later regretting it anyway. It's almost an art.

Look, it seems to me that especially parents who have named their offspring after TV shows, series, and pop idols will regret it sooner or later. But nothing could be further from the truth. Research from Mumsnet shows that women actually regret ‘normal’ names that are very common. No less than one in five women admits to being disappointed with the name they gave their son or daughter. Aiii.

For 32 percent, the feelings of regret came within six weeks after birth. What mothers find particularly incredibly annoying? When their child enters a class where another child also has that name. Also, parents who choose a name that is often mispronounced regret it afterwards. Anyway, 1000 mothers were surveyed about their regretful name, and these were the most common ones (@May, I would read something else if I were you, HAHA).
