Why you should go to this restaurant in Amersfoort

My best friend has a rather annoying trait. She's actually good at everything. I've spent evenings in her kitchen with my legs over the armrest and my head out the window where I (those were the days) blew out a cloud of Barclay Menthol. Meanwhile, she poured a splash of Sharidon (do you remember that? Incredibly nineties but delicious) into our coffee while she was making a fresh broth. With what she had left, she made a few croquettes and in the meantime, she took my favorite dish Melanzane alla Parmigiana out of the oven. Meanwhile, her kitchen is clean and tidy and her house is decorated in the most lovely way. So, a type that always has a cold bottle ready and where you can drop by at any moment.

Just when she thought she was going to take it easy in life, a restaurant fell into her lap. It was meant to be, because all her traits come together there. Cooking, decorating (I'm in love with the bathroom in her restaurant), having nice conversations, laughing, and who knows, after an evening where she has sent all 57 guests out intensely happy with a full belly, she might have another glass of Sheridon with you.

I hope the bottle is ready for me in any case, because tonight is her re-opening night after a major renovation, but as soon as I leave Italy again, I'm heading to Jeff's at Arnhemseweg number 30 in Amersfoort.
