10 quite bizarre (and handy) things you can buy via Bol.com

Ordering via bol.comIn the past, I would dutifully order books there, now I shop for my sports pants in the morning that I need in the evening. Or a cross trainer (true story) or a bulk package of my cleansing milk that is hardly available anywhere.

When online heavyweight Bol (you know, from com) suddenly brought large packs of Pampers to my attention via my email, I thought for the first time: how convenient. Not that I needed them for anything, but it seemed logical to me that you wouldn't want to haul those big things back and forth from the supermarket and that it would also be really nice to have them delivered to your work.

And you can seriously order all of this at Bol.

1. A lipstick from M.A.C if you drew Annabelle's name for Sinterkerst and New Year at the editorial office.

2. A huge inflatable air mattress, for when you suddenly get unexpected visitors tomorrow evening and you don't have a mattress lying around for this or that.

3. Face masks. Yes, just admit that you also looked for where you could easily and quickly score that. Now there was a mask in play that was going for 70 euros each over the Bol counter, but that has since been removed from the site.

4. I thought you might have to go to the competition for a washing machine , but you can also have that delivered straight to your laundry room from your comfy chair.

5. In the category ‘it also vibrates’: Bol lovingly provides you with a suitable vibrator. I just wonder if ‘not good money back’ applies here as well.

6. Number five from Chanel, which I find a gift in itself that you can also collect this via Bol.

7. Pampers are a symbol for all impossible groceries, like hypoallergenic dog food, because a) where do you get it and b) why did the producer have to stuff so much into one bag? Just at home on the mat, all those chunks.

8. A box Flügel, haha. Cheers guys, for the next party. Cap on the nose and hupsakee, for old times’ sake.

9. For all lazy readers: besides books, Bol also delivers the 90-degree glasses. Just pay attention, because they are almost sold out. I would almost try it. Almost.

10. A jet ski. A jet ski (!). Yes, you might need it à la minute. You do need to have a little patience for about a week, because you'll have it at home around March 10.

Honestly, I also tried to get a car into my digital shopping cart for a moment, but they didn't have that. What isn't there can still come.
