10 unnecessary ridiculous facts about The Bachelorette

Hey, I don't know about you, but I'm still quite entertained after three episodes with Gaby and the boys. The Bachelorette, the Videoland program that comes at just the right moment. 10 facts you might not know yet.
1. Does Ritchie seem familiar to you? That could be. The truck driver participated in First Dates in 2019. Trust me, you want to see.
2. By the way, Ritchie is not the only contestant who was already used to having cameras around. Contestant Chris previously participated in Holland's Next Top Model. There, he made an indelible impression on the jury with his ‘model move’, um, checking his watch. Breaking down.
3. Don't underestimate the success of The Bachelorette. The popular dating show has been aired in eleven countries since 2003. After America, Australia, Canada, Finland, Germany, India, Japan, New Zealand, Romania, Sweden, and Switzerland, there is now finally (!) a Dutch version.
4. In America, participating in the program The Bachelor is really a big deal. Some participants quit their jobs to join the show, hoping to find fame, love, or a combination of both. Some contestants spend thousands of euros on a new wardrobe but receive zero euros for participating in the show.
5. Emily Maynard (the American Bachelorette in season 15) received a wardrobe budget of 350,000 dollars for the recordings. Yes, that's 3.5 tons. Ho. Ly. Shit.
6. Participants don't just throw ‘any old’ clothes in that suitcase, no, there is a real packing list. Which is actually very common, as they have that in programs like Temptation Island and Expedition Robinson too.
7. Let's do some Insta-stalking, shall we? If we compare the amount of clothing Gaby suddenly wears to the content from six months ago, we can conclude that the amount of textiles present has grown exponentially. And that leads to the question: has she succeeded? Has she found a Mister Lovahlovah?
8. Ooooh, but Rick Brandsteder has already made the revelation on Koffietijd: Gaby Blaaser has found love through the program. Nice to know. No ‘Gordon is getting married and then not after all’, you know.
9. But, on Twitter, very different stories are circulating, and particularly the one about the chemistry between Rick Brandsteder and Gaby is a special one. Monica Geuze also mentions sparks between the two. “They've been together.”
10. The Bachelor (with a man in the lead role) has already been broadcast five times in the Netherlands. What turns out? All those Bachelors are now NOT together with the love they ‘found’ in the program. Tssss.
Gaby, are you going to surprise us? Is this real luv? Honestly, you deserve it, girl.
