3x incredibly good Netflix news

Just a fun fact: in ancient Greece, the number three was really good news. The pinnacle of perfection. No, really: omne trinium perfectum it was called, and my Latin lessons (okay, Google Translate) taught me that translates to: ‘every triad is perfect’. Well, to stick with those Greek customs, I have three pieces of news for you today. T-H-R-E-E. Pinnacle of perfection. You’re welcome.
Okay, piece of news number one: Suits is coming back. Yessss, and it was about time, I must say. I need some Harvey Specter. Goodness, that man is so handsome. Okay, Suits isn’t quite what it used to be (I really liked season 1), but as long as that man is still in it, you won’t hear me complain. We’re now in season 7 and I don’t know why, but Netflix has decided to split all seasons in two online. Why Netflix, why? Anyway, we’ve had the first ten episodes for a while now, but that second part is on its way. On March 28, you’ll have new Harvey on your screen.
On to number two. The ideal replacement for Gossip Girl, namely Élite, has a release date for their third season already. March 13 (March is going to be awesome, I can feel it already) we can watch again, and that’s quite a pace they’ve got with Élite: the second season went online in September. Look, this is the pace I love. And brace yourself, because they plan to do the fourth and fifth seasons with a completely new cast.
Last but very not least: a golden oldie is being filmed by Netflix. Namely Matilda, based on the book by Roald Dahl. I really loved the original version with Danny DeVito when I was younger, so I’m very curious about this one. Anyway, Netflix has acquired quite a few Roald Dahl titles in 2018, so probably more will follow. I’m especially curious if they will keep it as children’s films or if it will also be fun for adults. The original Matilda definitely fell into the latter category for me. Roald Dahl has a knack for making the stories quite grim here and there. Totally fun. The release date is not yet known, but unfortunately, this will probably take another year, I’m afraid...
