Bridget Maasland writes post to Mees‘ ’bonus mom'

This week, the sad news came out that Nathalie Hoop has passed away. Much too early, at the age of 43. She had been ill for some time: cervical cancer. Nathalie leaves behind daughter Keet and bonus child Mees.

She was married to Pepijn Padberg, the ex-husband of Bridget Maasland with whom she shares son Mees. For Mees, Nathalie was a ‘bonus mom’, according to Bridget. She dedicates a beautiful post to Nathalie on Instagram.

Much too early deceased mom of Keet, bonus mom of Mees. We will take care of Keet just as you did for Mees. R.i.p dear Nathalie.

Bridget is not the only one who has spoken out on Instagram. Nathalie was the dedicated assistant of Hans Klok for no less than 21 years, and he also dedicates a post to Nathalie on Instagram.

Dear Nathalie, I have no words for this and we held hope until the bitter end. What a wonderful 21 years we have been able to perform together. We have experienced so much and traveled so much. Now you have begun your last journey and must leave us behind. Thank you for allowing me to work with you and how I will terribly miss you. You were a true artist, a circus woman, simply the best! I wish Pepijn, Keet, Mees, your parents, your sister, and all who love you a lot of strength! A good last journey Nathalie, my sorrow for you is indescribable, you were so special and I will think of you so often. ❤️
