Check Lotte's home workspace

Is the kitchen table your home office domain or are you wedged between the wardrobe and the bed? Every week we take a look behind the front door to see what your home office looks like. This week we get to peek inside our own Lotte's.
Name: Lotte van Scherpenzeel (28)
Location: In Amsterdam at the dining table
Work: Graphic designer a.k.a. beauty junkie at Amayzine and freelance writer and designer.
Lunch: Something different every day. Vegetables, an egg, hummus or a slice of toast from the toaster with peanut butter (mmmm).
Company: Jeroen, my boyfriend. And when I work late in the evening and sit still, a little mouse occasionally flies by in the corner of my left eye.
Essential: Difficult... My Nike water bottle or AirPods.
Tip I: A tidy house and the candles lit.
Tip II: At the end of the workday, I always open the window to let some fresh air in.
Tip III: Rain or shine, I go for a walk every morning for at least 20 minutes.
Annoying: My black kitchen. It's really beautiful and I'm very happy with it, but you see everything on it. Every drop has to be wiped away, because if it dries, you see dark circles everywhere after a while. My boyfriend doesn't notice this, good for him, but due to my tidying obsession sometimes (see tip 1) I get really annoyed by it.
Plus
+ My boyfriend's work is sometimes quite hocus pocus, but now I get to see much more of it. Very interesting.
+ As long as there is good internet, I can work anywhere; last week I spent a few days in a hotel.
+ Not washing my hair for an extra day.
Min
- Not taking breaks, I often have lunch behind my computer.
- The speed of the internet that occasionally lets me down.
- The excessive use of WhatsApp to communicate with colleagues; it's just more fun in person.
