Check the home workspace

Adeline Mans working from home

Is the kitchen table your home office domain or are you wedged between the wardrobe and the bed? Every week we take a look behind the front door to see what your home office looks like. But of course, we start ourselves.

Research continues to confirm that we see more advantages than disadvantages when it comes to working from home. Tilburg University conducted research among 5000 knowledge workers and a solid top five of advantages emerged.

1. The disappearance of your travel time.
2. Eating your own food (I suddenly see a forced office lunch in front of me).
3. Being close to family and friends (well, one and a half meters, right?).
4. Taking a break whenever you want.
5. Time to focus on work without interruptions.

Disadvantages are certainly there too, although only ten percent of workers are completely gloomy about the home office. An impressive ninety percent mainly miss their colleagues. Which I understand. We kick off this week at my home, because how are we actually doing?
