Coffee brewing chatter; just in time for the weekend

The weekend is knocking at the door, the plans have been made, but we'll update you on what's happening in the known domestic and foreign news.

The smoking princess
Where there’s smoke, there’s fire, or someone is just puffing away. In this case, it’s Princess Eloise (18) who has been captured on the smoking plate. Apparently, the cucumber time is so enormous that she ended up with a cigarette on the front page of a magazine. I can imagine that she had envisioned her first cover a bit differently. Since Eloise is not the daughter of WimLex and Max and thus not a member of the royal house but only of the royal family, she falls just outside the media code. For example, cousin Amalia should not be published in this way. Eloise is starting her studies in The Hague this year and felt safe in the company of friends. Dad Constantijn and mom Laurentien are not amused by the publication; they believe their daughter has a right to privacy. Once, let her enjoy her first cigarettes and beers in peace. I can't even imagine how my parents would have reacted if I had ended up on a front page when I smoked my first cigarette. At thirteen. Meanwhile, Eloise is wondering on Instagram why this news is out.

Maxime Meiland's boyfriend
Suddenly, there was an unknown man in the family photo of the Meiland family. With Maxime's hand on his shoulder. Under the photo on Instagram, there were multiple requests for text and explanation, which came from father Martien at RTL Boulevard. ‘He's an incredibly nice guy. Besides the fact that he looks good, he's very kind and he fits perfectly into our family.’ Maxime's new boyfriend is Leroy, a cameraman who came to film the teaser on the estate and immediately felt at home. Martien also mentions that he saw the love between the two develop; he is clearly happy with his daughter's new love.

An extra piece of the Netherlands
We have just grown a meter eighty. Normally, every centimeter of land is fought over in history, but here only a boundary marker commission was involved. You don't know something exists until you need it, as it turns out. Between Roosendaal and Essen, the historical border appears to be incorrectly marked. Our southern neighbors have therefore unjustly used a whopping 180 centimeters for years. As we speak, all the cobblestones are being laid correctly, so everything is back in order according to the boundary marker commission. How could this happen? In the past, a stream ran where the border is, where of course no post could be placed in the ground. All's well that ends well.
