Coffee brewing chatter: what you want to know this morning

Coffee brewing talks April 23

A sunny Thursday morning, with 22 degrees on the way, we stay indoors or in the garden, or on your balcony or in a window sill for a little longer. To stay updated on the ins and outs of showbiz, we'll catch you up. Coffee ready? Here we go.

Dave Roelvink rushed to the hospital
It must have been an unsettling evening and night at the Roelvink household, as suddenly Dave's face stopped working as it should. His vision disappeared due to a swollen eye, half of his face seemed to droop, and he experienced muscle spasms in his neck. ‘My face has been straightened out again, I got a bit of those twitches in my nerves,’ Dave himself shared on Instagram. The Roelvink scion was soon in a CT scan, but nothing alarming was found there. What it is, however, could not be determined in the hospital, a new appointment will follow.

The Hunger Games gets a fifth movie
Anything with Jennifer Lawrence in it is, in my opinion, a potential success, including all parts of The Hunger Games. And then you think that after number two, the third movie might be a bit mediocre, mais non. The fourth then? Not that either. Therefore, it is extremely favorable news that Lionsgate has agreed to adapt the fifth book by Suzanne Collins. The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes will be released on paper next month, we obviously cannot yet announce when the filming will start. To be continued, thank god.

Ruben Nicolai is in love
Look, we could use some love happiness in quarantine. Ruben found love in his new girlfriend Pauline. The two met at a premiere, where he thought he was being a true ninja by peeking at her. But women are women and notice that, after which she told him he should come over to her. We understand Ruben, such a woman is nice.

Want to see Mark Rutte angry?
The man seems to be on his last nerve this week after one beacon of control, but Lilian Marijnissen managed to get our prime minister angry. What she said came out rather bluntly, in my personal opinion: ‘I have the impression that in this time you would be better off being a smartphone looking for an app, rather than a caregiver looking for a face mask.’ That did not sit well with Mark Rutte, and he could not help but point out the line she crossed in this debate, according to him.
