It's warm, you're grilling something and a salad belongs with it. Again that cucumber, tomato, egg and mesclun from a bag? Boring! No, this summer you will shine with the watermelon-strawberry-feta-mint salad. Just as simple and super tasty.

Ingredients

  • 1 large piece of watermelon
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 box of strawberries
  • 1 bunch of mint
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 package of feta
  • olive oil
  • balsamic
  • salt and pepper

Here's how to make the watermelon-feta-mint salad

  1. Cut the watermelon into neat cubes and make sure there are no black seeds left in it.
  2. Cut the cucumber into cubes that are the same size.
  3. Clean the strawberries and cut them in half or quarters (strawberry allergy? This recipe is also great without).
  4. Finely chop the mint and dice the red onion.
  5. Crumble the feta.
  6. Make a simple dressing by mixing the olive oil and balsamic together.
  7. Put everything together in a large bowl, mix and sprinkle with some salt and pepper.
