For all the remote workers going crazy: this hotel offers luxury workrooms for a bargain

The first week was still fun playing from home, the second week you saw the advantage of sleeping in + drinking cappuccino from bed and calling in with colleagues. But now? Now the walls are closing in a bit.
Last week I suddenly felt it: the irritated tickle in my lower abdomen. Pure boredom. My house was done, my partner's way of working (read: constantly video calling) was done, my cats were done, writing was done, everything was done. In the meantime, I have styled, seen, and done every corner of my house photo and video-wise. Sigh. For a creative mind, being locked up but at the same time presenting the same work is just not doable. I think.
And then I found something I should have found much earlier. The flex workroom. Yes guys, it’s apparently a thing. Boat & Co, one of my favorite hotels in Amsterdam (probably because I was there messing around with Mariana in bed, here's proof) has come up with a way to combat the emptiness. To still be useful in a time when many people feel involuntarily useless. A time when hotels have it anything but easy and every euro counts. Especially as a new hotel in the Amsterdam Houthavens, a place that should have been buzzing, but where the streets are now emptier than ever.
Why not transform those hotel rooms into work spots for solo butterflies/freelancers/busy moms who can’t get to work at home or who could use a day of rest? To stimulate your creative brain again, to make calls in peace without your housemate/partner saying ‘ssssst’ to you? Imagine checking in at the desk, going into the elevator, being able to open a ROOM with ONE CARD (hello travel experience itself) and then crawling très chic to your own desk for a day. Your own corona cocoon including your own desk, fridge, coffee machine, a lunch package that can be delivered – with appropriate distance – everything included. Safe. According to the rules. How fun is this?
You pay 39 euros for a day of working (from 08:00 to 20:00), which I still find cheap considering how big those perfect for a long stay studios are. No way! I. Am. In. This. Is. The. Bomb.
P.S.: Check here if you want to as well. But not too much at once, okay? Then I’ll lose my spot again, we can’t have that.
