Drink with your butt naked, milk from a coconut, you'll grow all by yourself. Well, that growing has certainly worked out for her, that Geraldine. A typical example of someone who works in the media but has remained ‘so wonderfully ordinary’.
Ger doesn't like fuss. She might wear a glitter dress during the finale of The Voice, but on a daily basis, you can picture her in a nice loose baggy shirt, vintage if possible. Makeup? Only if she feels like it. She certainly doesn't need it to feel good. And it's exactly that nonchalant attitude that makes her a chill person.
Now, Ger is certainly not averse to a bit of nudity (or should I remind you of that LINDA. shoot with Kim Feenstra?), but today she’s just going completely naked. Fuck it, why should she care, it’s 30 degrees outside and why would you even wear clothes when you’re by the water with such a view? This is just how we came into the world, right? Mother Nature?
What I find so nice about all this: times are changing on Insta. A photo of a crying Marieke Elsinga (‘because life isn’t always cheerful’) is getting more likes than ever. The ‘cream cheese rolls’ of a Miljuschka who feels good in her skin are going viral. And now Gerrie's butt. We are more than ever in a time of transition and even the Insta bubble is about to burst. Shouldn’t something feel a little awkward first before it goes out of the ‘taboo box’? Is this actually an exciting photo or is it just very normal? Everyone has a butt, right?
