McHacks from the experts

Say wine, snacks or haute cuisine and the foodies of the online food magazine FavorFlav know where to drink, how to eat it, and what to cook. This time our chefs serve you: McHacks from the experts.
Nice consistent quality, that's what I like. And even if you don't like McDonald's, you can't deny that they are at least consistent with their products. But there are ways to make that one Happy Meal even happier and other golden (arches) McHacks. Here are the six best tips from diehard fans.
And honestly: these are genuinely handy hacks. During my next visit to restaurant The Golden Arches, I will definitely apply these.
1. Ask for fries without salt
This McHack has two advantages: I find those fries really incredibly salty and even though that's really tasty, sometimes I find it really too much. So that's advantage number one. Advantage number two is that you are guaranteed fresh fries, because they come straight from the fryer. Make sure to do this when it's not too busy, because during rush hour that fryer works overtime and you are guaranteed fresh fries.
2. No table available or eating in the car?
Then use this handy McHack. Maybe not the most convenient in the car, but you can eat everything at once. So I would still give it a try, to be honest.

3. For when you're broke: this is how to get a cheaper Big Mac
Buy two cheeseburgers and ask for separate Big Mac sauce. To be honest: I think you will get some strange looks and you will be known as a real cheapskate (after all, the Mac isn't that expensive), but you will be laughing last, because you have a cheaper Big Mac anyway. I should mention that the lettuce and pickles are missing, but hey, that's not really the best part of the Big Mac.
4. In a hurry? Definitely use the McDrive
Lines for the McDrive are way more annoying than lines in the restaurants, which is why these orders always get priority. You do need a car for this of course (walking through the McDrive or biking is rated medium), but it's good to know if you're using such a highway location and need to get through quickly.
5. Ask for a fresh batch
Instead of making it difficult by ordering your fries without salt or for example a Big Mac without pickles (which is also fresh because it has to be made specially), you can simply ask if you can have everything fresh. I don't know if this is an urban myth, but employees have spoken out that they are required to do this if asked. Worth a try, I think.
6. Birthday? Go to the Mac the month after for free stuff
If you download the McDonald's app and you have registered your birthday (or for example log in with your Facebook account), you will receive discounts or free products in the month after your birthday. Just remember to bring your ID, but that's a small effort for a free Big Mac, right? Anyway, that app always has really great deals.
Well, I don't know what you're going to do, but I'm heading to the Mac with appropriate urgency. CAN'T WAIT.
