This is what you need to know if you're going to Italy

The world is different, but fortunately we can still travel. I hope to go to Italy on Monday, provided we have a negative test result. Correction: provided we can even be tested at all. If you're also going to Italy, then this is what you want to know.

1. You must be tested.
So go to a rapid test site and know that your airline will have purchased time slots. So if you don't find a spot, pull out the Transavia or KLM card, there may still be some spots available.

2. You must have a completed form with you. You can find that on the website of the airline you are flying with.

3. Make sure to bring face masks, and plastic gloves can also be useful. And also bring a small sanitizer with you.

4. You can also do a Covid test upon arrival, but I don't know how quick and smooth that will be.

5. The test result must not be older than 72 hours.

6. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has a travel app, where you can favorite the country you are going to so you receive all the information immediately.

7. In Italy, a strict mask policy is enforced. So everywhere you are indoors and also when you walk to the restroom in a restaurant.

8. The distance that is maintained in Italy is one meter, not one and a half.

9. Corona is referred to as Covid in Italy.

I wish you a very nice holiday despite all the hassle and let's do our best to get corona (Covid) under control together.
