You know them, those couples that are made for each other. They should never be apart because the universe just didn't intend for these people to breathe, sleep, have sex, and live separately. Why does this couple have charisma? Pff. Do I really need to explain it? REALLY? Okay, here it comes.

They are down to earth and straight forward

It's cool when a couple shares common passions, but Nien and Res take it to the next level. It's also impressive that they manage it without Nienke looking like a walking burnout.

After the birth of their son, the couple had a rough patch. ‘It was a bit of an unfortunate moment, where we were both feeling a bit down,’ said Nienke. ‘Every relationship has a moment where you have to work hard. I think these days we too easily separate. I recently heard a beautiful saying from people who have been together for a long time: ‘In the past, things that were broken were not replaced, but repaired.’ My fiancé and I believe in that too.’ Amen to that.
