Sexy Saturday is starting. Or well, sexy... Maybe more educational. Because you might have one, you might not, but bet that there are quite a few things about the clitoris that you don't know yet? But we are never too old to learn, of course, so today I present to you some fun facts that you might not have known.

1. There’s more than meets the eye
Bizarre: the part of the clitoris that we can see is only a quarter of its total size. In total, it’s about ten centimeters. WHUT. That’s really quite large. Actually, it’s about the same size as a male genital in a flaccid state.

2. That’s true too
Secretly, the clitoris has quite a lot in common with the penis: the tip that you see is comparable to the foreskin and in the uterus, the penis grows out of what remains a clitoris for women.

3. Even more similarities
When you are aroused, the clitoris also becomes harder. So yes, women can get boners too.

4. Very sensitive
Because the clitoris has about 8,000 nerve endings, it’s not so strange that it is very sensitive. For comparison: the male glans has only half.

5. It’s actually quite pointless
Well, in the sense that it has no other purpose in our body. The clitoris has the sole function of bringing pleasure.

6. It keeps growing
Due to hormones, the clitoris continues to grow: an ‘adult’ specimen can be up to four times larger than that of a teenager.

7. Size means nothing
Unfortunately... Size really doesn’t matter: women with a larger clitoris do not orgasm faster.
