Is it weird that I can get angry about Stormi's ridiculous birthday party?

“Look, check NOW the Insta Stories of Kim K. It’s that time again.” So I did what the app asked and yes, it was indeed that time again. One of the (now thirty, in my opinion) kids is having a birthday. And when a baby from the Kardashian clan has a birthday, it doesn’t go unnoticed. A range of staff is hired, a hashtag is created, and at least a circus is built. And in this case, the second birthday of Kylie Jenner's daughter was entirely themed around the Disney movie Frozen.

Well, if your mom is the youngest billionaire in the world, your party is of course a bit different than most toddlers. I can relate to that. I don’t expect a pool party at De Kwakel, but #Stormisworld is the other extreme. Wow… Visitors walk – again – in through a gigantic inflatable head of Stormi. Inside the circus, there’s a claw machine where you can win stuffed animals with Stormi's head. Mascots are dancing with inflatable mega heads of… Stormi. A Stormi merchandise gift shop?! How can this be good for a child? How narcissistic must poor Stormi become? How can Stormi ever settle for less? How many peers will secretly hate Stormi a little because she can get everything she wants? Is it healthy to get everything you want? Does Stormi also get a hug from her mom on her birthday or is she only filmed with a filter? Can someone save poor Stormi from #Stormisworld?! Oh, probably Stormi thinks her party is totally awesome and I’m just hating, so I won’t start a rescue operation. But honestly: I have my thoughts on it. This can’t be good for a child…
