Just messaging with.. Lonneke Nooteboom

May and Lonneke laughing at a table in a restaurant

2019 already had cups, but 2020 is just Lonneke Nooteboom. Already now. She is launching a book and her own collection that she developed together with Shoeby. What do you think? Sold out. Within a day I believe. I understood it, because the dresses are fantastic and Lonneke, yes, she just knows what women want. Good reason to check how her screen time is doing.

Thursday:

[18.46] May:
Hey Lon, how's it going? What a week you had…

Friday:

[18.24] Lonneke:
? yeahhhh wow… what can I say… overwhelming, fantastic, successful but also really intense… especially now it turns out that because so many people suddenly started ordering online, the system crashed and unfortunately many orders cannot or cannot be fully delivered! Of course, I am super proud that my ShoebyXLonneke collection was such a success! ?

Saturday:

[14.38] May:
It was raining congratulations and good luck messages that day, of course. Which one were you the happiest with?

[14.40] Lonneke:
Wow… With the one from Luc (my husband). He is veeeery down-to-earth and he messaged: ‘You did it! So proud of you.’

[14.41] May:
Who are actually in your WhatsApp favorites?

[15.12] Lonneke:
Yeah, pooooee, I message a lot and I call a lot. Among others with Luc, my sons, sister Evelien, my parents and friends. And Yu, my manager.

[15.13] Lonneke:
I message with them kind of all day back and forth.

[15.50] May:
Just a small task in between. Search in your apps for the word ‘normal’ and see when and where you last used that word.

[15.50] Lonneke:
?

[15.54] Lonneke:
Honey, haha, this is NOT normal.

[15.54] Lonneke:
To Luc

[15.54] Lonneke:
About the crowds in the stores… traffic jams in the parking lots and arguing people ?

[15.55] Lonneke:
That I was kind of in shock

[16.28] May:
Haha! Bizarre right. And did that come with your favorite emoticon?

[19.08] Lonneke:
Noooooo ?

[19.08] Lonneke:
I really find it so intense what is happening now

[19.23] May:
Yeah, bizarre. Is there an emoji that should be banned?

[19.31] Lonneke:
No way, I actually love it, so many emojis ? I always use them

[19.33] Lonneke:
I think it's great that new ones are always added. You can show more emotion with emojis and have less miscommunication… That’s also a reason why I use them!

[19.57] May:
And, be honest: what was your screen time last week?

[21.14] Lonneke:
6.45 ???

[21.14] Lonneke:
Last week with Shoeby and the book was crazy

Sunday:

[07.57] May:
And what is the funniest group chat name you are in?

[11.53] Lonneke:
The stiff boards

[11.54] Lonneke:
?

[11.54] Lonneke:
My old yoga group

[12.27] May:
Hilarious. And do you have your notifications on and can people watch your screen?

[12.49] Lonneke:
Nooo, I have my notifications turned off! Otherwise, I would go completely crazy!

[12.51] May:
And finally: what photo did you send last?

[12.51] Lonneke:

[12.53] Lonneke:
This one just sent to Kelly (W). This was in the news here in Belgium this morning. I find it quite disturbing and I don't understand why they aren't more open about it here in NL.

[12.53] Lonneke:
Then the youth will also stop just going out and having fun.... My three boys are (thankfully) here at home instead of at Nyenrode...

[12.54] Lonneke:
Here we just make it extra cozy

[12.56] May:
I find it getting stranger and stranger. And everything that keeps being adjusted (you wouldn't be able to transmit it if you have no symptoms, then you could, first no danger for children, now there is), it seems like economic interests are prevailing over personal ones. Let's hope it's over soon, Lon. And that we can pick and celebrate the first summer day in one of your lovely dresses. XXX.
