Our favorite stores at Amsterdam The Style Outlets

Amsterdam The Style outlets

These are the seven stores we run straight into as soon as we arrive at Amsterdam The Style Outlets. Because you find everything under one roof, you can make the most efficient use of your shopping time. And let’s be honest, efficient shopping without losing time is exactly what we want this December.

1. Sissy-Boy
Tip: park your car in the London corner of the parking garage, take the stairs up there and you’ll find yourself right in Sissy-Boy. We are crazy about almost everything from Sissy. The clothing, the home department, all the stationery, the Christmas ornaments… On my first visit, I took home a velvet round cushion, a vase with a peacock, and a new notebook, and I already have a wish list for my next visit.

2. Hunkemöller
For the finest panties, the comfiest bras, stylish shorts to sleep in, or how about the homewear? During our visit to the shopping paradise, May ran straight into Hunk. And we hurried after her, of course.

3. The Kooples
When we made Halfweg unsafe on opening day, we simultaneously exclaimed: ‘They have a The Kooples,’ the brand that stands for that edgy French style we love so much. For a wool coat as it should be or just a rocking shirt or a leather laptop case that is indeed sexy. So you definitely want to pop into The Kooples.

4. DutchHomemade Macarons
Whatever you do while shopping, always take something home to snack on. At Amsterdam The Style Outlets, they have a store full of macarons. Grab a box here, then head to Starbucks or Anne & Max for a coffee to go and take a little break on a bench where you can already taste one. Because: if you take something home, you need to know how it tastes.

5. Le Creuset
I have a weakness for kitchenware: from cutting boards to beautiful spatulas and thus also good pots. When I saw a Le Creuset at the height of Paris (the outlet center is divided into our favorite cities), my life was good. Creuset on sale, what more do you need this Christmas?

6. Adidas, Nike, New Balance
Apologies for this multitude, but I’m just crazy about all sports stores. New Balance for new sneakers, Adidas for my favorite dry fit shirts, and Nike for leggings and hoodies (and sneakers and and and).

7. Sunglass Hut
There’s no better time to buy a new pair of sunglasses than in winter. The sun is too low at the end of the day to be blocked by your sun visor in the car, and you might as well have it at home for when you can wear it all day again. Forgive me this poetic form, I’m still a bit in rhyme mode.

Also handy: on the site and socials of Amsterdam The Style Outlets, you can see when it’s quiet and busy, so you can choose a nice shopping time slot.
