The 8 most beautiful houses in the Ardennes

Honestly, I’m not quite ready to board the plane yet, but staying home all summer is also such a gloomy prospect. And if you can surround yourself in a luxurious and beautiful environment just two to three hours from home, isn’t that the best option? Exactly, that’s what I thought too. So we’re going to the Ardennes. All together. Because you need to gather a number of friends, the more the merrier and the more the bigger the house. Because hoooly guacamole, there are some amazing houses in the Ardennes. I say beautiful environment, but the chance that I’ll go for a walk when I stay in these houses is also not that great. You’ll find me more likely in the pool, the sauna, or the jacuzzi with a glass of wine. But anyway, read along: here are the 8 most beautiful houses in the Ardennes to rent with a group.
1. This villa near Durbuy is everything you dream of.
For five days, you do have to dig deep into your pockets: it’s just over fifteen hundred euros, but you can sleep twelve people there, so that’s actually not too bad. And you don’t even have to see each other much because this villa is on an estate of 5962 m². It has an indoor pool, an outdoor pool, a jacuzzi, and a sauna. In the evenings, a little barbecue, and let the vacation come.
2. Beautiful house in Malmedy
If you’re with fewer people, this house is a great option. There’s room for six people, and it’s also a lot cheaper than the one above: ‘only’ 663 euros for a long weekend. Great price, I think. And you do get a pretty spacious house back with a pool and sauna. Inside, the house is also equipped with all conveniences (as it should be), and the view from the pool is just perfect.
3. Or to this villa in Rochefort?
What immediately stands out here is the illuminated pool for some nighttime diving, and that pool is also quite large, in case you want to swim laps. With some sun loungers: I can definitely entertain myself here. Inside, you have a pool table, a foosball table, and a fireplace. Could be handy: when I went to the Ardennes with a group in the summer, it literally rained the whole time. Furthermore, there’s room for thirteen people, so the house is reasonably large.
4. And again back to Durbuy
Okay, the most luxurious villas are around Durbuy, I notice. Like this one, with a Finnish sauna and a pool that can be used both indoors and outdoors. Furthermore, there’s a large balcony with a dining table (but you can also eat by the pool with a view). Oh yes, and that outdoor pool? It’s heated. Love it. Room for fourteen people, so nice and spacious.
5. Or to the village of Spa
Most villas in the Ardennes are a bit… not really my taste, let’s put it that way. Quite old-fashioned. Cozy, though, but I personally prefer something more modern, and this one comes a bit closer. There’s room for six people, but the house is still quite spacious. There’s a nice pool, and very nice: the dining table is outside, but there’s also one inside surrounded by glass walls. Nice and bright, in case it’s a bit too cold outside.
6. Near Coo, you can also find great villas This one is also one of my favorites from this list, you know. You have a beautiful view over a lake from the pool, there are many sun loungers but also a lounge set, there’s an outdoor barbecue but also a spacious kitchen inside. Furthermore, a foosball table, a large TV, and a big chill sofa. Yes, I’m totally in.
7. Going.
with a group of friends to Malmedy is a great plan Nice: this villa for eight people has a separate space with a bar. I think it’s a plus if there’s a separate space to hang out (not that you can’t do that in other parts of the house, but still) because that always feels so cozy. Furthermore, they have an indoor pool and the jacuzzi is also inside, but the terrace outside looks really cool too. All in all, this is a good option for the end of summer.
8. Okay, Durbuy really has.
