The 9 irritations you recognize when you and your partner both work from home

My son is stuck behind the wallpaper and maybe I should kill my husband one of these days, but other than that: all good, all good. A message from a colleague in response to the question of how it was going. Another friend asks me via message if I know a good divorce lawyer.

Of course it's nonsense, but because a bit of irritation arises when you suddenly sit under one roof 24/7, a different dynamic comes into play. So I took stock of the 9 biggest irritations among my girlfriends. If you have additions, let me know.

1. Loud typing

2. Breathing
How much can you get annoyed? Well, quite a bit. I have a colleague who tells her boyfriend: ‘Don't breathe like that!’ and I have to laugh really hard about that.

3. Tea bags everywhere
That your partner drinks tea all day is one thing. But that there are bags lying around everywhere… Infuriating.

4. Chair has become a coat rack
Okay, coats were always just hung on the coat rack, but now that your living room has become a collective workspace, it has immediately been agreed that coats can be placed over armrests and bags next to chairs on the floor. Not exactly your idea of a Pinterest-proof house.

5. You are not told anything about a video meeting
And thanks, really super nice that you just walked into the frame with exploded hair (why even bother to comb it) and thus, hoiii hoiii, were in the digital meeting room.

6. That your loved one is really quite hysterical about corona
Like not wanting to let the cleaner in and not wanting to accept packages. Yes, come on, is everything really being taken away from you now?

7. The other eats all day long
While you want to have lunch together at a set time. Everything gets mixed up and you hate that.

8. There is loud talking.

9. Actually just the fact that your love exists.
