The word is out: Temptation Island is coming back on RTL and Videoland

Yes, the high word is out, you know. After the whole De Villa affair, all reality series were put on hold due to events that were certainly not acceptable there. Now I must honestly say that I found the whole concept of De Villa a bit of a recipe for trouble. You have guilty pleasures and you have, well... programs like De Villa. As far as I'm concerned, it's good that it was quickly kicked off the air.

But with that, RTL also announced to show Temptation Island and Love Island the door. To conduct thorough research into how things could go so wrong with these kinds of programs. Well, it seems that research has been completed, because RTL just announced that Temptation Island is coming back on the air. Oh yes, people, Tempa is BACK. And quite soon: the new season starts on February 26.

Program director Peter van der Vorst says he will come up with a detailed statement about the research into De Villa and assures that such mistakes will not happen again. Rightly so, although I think people are mainly happy that Temptation is simply back. By the way, you really can't get enough: there will also be a Videoland edition. With VIPS? That's still unclear, but you can at least sign up now if you ever want to participate.
