These celebrities are no longer allowed in certain countries

Probably everyone has gone a bit overboard at some point. Drank too much, for example. Maybe even walked out of a café without paying. Caused a bit of a ruckus at a hotel on vacation... Quite innocent things — I assume. But as with everything, celebrities take it a step further. They manage to get banned from a country. Not from a hotel or a café, no, from an entire COUNTRY. Some, for example, are no longer allowed in China. That's quite a large country that you can never get to know. Why? Just read along. And especially, don't try this at home.
Selena Gomez is not allowed in two of the largest countries in the world
Well done, Miss Gomez. She is not allowed in China and Russia. That's quite a bit of territory where you are not welcome. The reason China doesn't want her in their country is due to a photo from 2012, where she posed with the Dalai Lama. As you will notice in this list, China is quite sensitive to everything, and getting banned from this country is pretty easy. In Russia, it's a different story: she has not been welcome there since 2013 because she openly supports the gay rights movement.
The Biebs doesn't have to go to Argentina anymore
In 2016, Justin Bieber told his Argentine fans that they should not expect him in their country anymore. He was no longer welcome. He didn't want to say much about the reason, but it's probably because he had a fight with a photographer there and was also disrespectful about their flag.
Katy Perry is not allowed in China
Since 2017, Katy Perry has been banned; she is absolutely persona non grata in China. Painful, as she had applied for a visa. She didn't get it, and as a response, she was also banned. Now that's a tough rejection. The reason? Madame Perry wore a yellow dress with a sunflower on it in 2015. Yes, how dare she? She wore that outfit during a show in Taipei, Taiwan. Now that location is already sensitive for China, but it's even more so because the sunflower symbolizes anti-China protesters.
China is also not interested in Gigi Hadid
Hoooly shitballs, how many celebs have been banned from China? And I'm just taking the biggest A-Listers as examples. Gigi Hadid couldn't walk in the Victoria’s Secret show because she didn't get a visa. Reason: a video in which she mocked Asian appearance.
Another persona non grata in China: Brad Pitt
I could easily make another list like this just for China, because I feel like no one is welcome there anymore. Like Brad Pitt, since he starred in the movie Seven Years In Tibet. I thought it was a beautiful film, but they didn't think so there. Tibet is a no-go for China, and Brad is now too.
Lady Gaga and Indonesia are not a match
There was a tour planned through Indonesia, but it had to be canceled last minute. Her performances would be a bit too risky, so she is only welcome when she does something more conservative. Well, that didn't sit well with Lady Gaga, and since then she hasn't been able to enter the country.
Paris Hilton is no longer allowed in Japan... And found that out at the airport
In 2010, Mrs. Hilton was supposed to visit Japan, but upon arrival, she found out that she was not welcome at all. What followed was a six-hour interrogation and being put back on the first flight to LA under escort. Nice. Reason: she was arrested in America with cocaine in her possession. Wow, Japan is really not a fan of drugs.
Chris Brown is not allowed in England
Let me start by saying that I believe Chris Brown deserves zero fame (not agree? Just read the public indictment from Rihanna). Fortunately, The Queen agrees and he is not allowed in England after he severely assaulted his then-girlfriend Rihanna. Good for him.
A few more, these celebs are also not welcome in China: Jay-Z, Harrison Ford, Miley Cyrus, Jon Bon Jovi, Oasis, Sharon Stone, Martin Scorsese, Richard Gere, Bob Dylan, and many, MANY more.
