This blooper from Gossip Girl is going viral

If I say Gossip Girl, there's a good chance you immediately think of fashion. Or of Blair, Chuck, Nate, the whole gang... Or of New York, of course. But that entire cast looked quite fashionable in NYC. Shopping at Bergdorfs, sipping cocktails in the cutest dresses at Butter, and of course, Blair's mom Eleanor's clothing line. No, you won't quickly spot a fashion faux pas in Gossip Girl. We thought. Until this blooper was spotted by a very enthusiastic viewer and posted on TikTok. So a decade after Gossip Girl, that faux pas goes viral anyway.

Because here's what's going on: Serena is sitting at a table in a restaurant with Dan. Looking fancy as always (Serena, that is) in a super tight dress (which she can pull off best), she stands up and walks away dramatically. Up until then, everything is fine. But as she walks past the camera in the next shot, her outfit has changed a bit... Was it maybe a little cold on set?

Because that super tight dress was also mega short. So short that a pair of sweatpants was secretly slipped underneath. And not just any fashionable sweatpants, no: really one of those that you wear at home when no one can see you because they are so comfy but really look awful. One of those.

So Serena dramatically storms out of the place, in her high heels and sweatpants. Oops. Not exactly clever of the producers, because that's so not Gossip Girl-worthy. And hats off to the observant viewer.
