This is how you make those cinnamon rolls too

Are you also the type that thinks that the Philips Airfryer is mainly suitable for frying fries or frying a bitterball? That's not the case. You can make anything in it. To prove that, I made these cinnamon rolls, because what is more festive and delicious than cinnamon rolls?
The advantage of the Philips Airfryer XXL is that it doesn't need to preheat and you can set the temperature exactly. Moreover, if you press the icon that shows what you want to make (fries, fish, meat), it indicates the correct temperature. Now, onto the cinnamon rolls. I parked the Airfryer in my garden shed, plugged it in, and set the temperature to 180 degrees.
The recipe is simple.
You take a can of croissant dough. And where you normally pull apart the little edges, you massage the dough into a large sheet.
1 can of croissant dough
2 teaspoons of cinnamon
50 g soft butter
about 50 g light brown sugar
Ingredients for the glaze:
100 g powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons of milk
Preparation:
1. Roll out the croissant dough and mix the soft butter with the cinnamon.
2. Spread the rolled-out croissant dough with the butter mixture and sprinkle the sugar on top.
3. Roll the croissant dough back up and try to pinch the seam closed a bit with your hands.
4. Use a sharp knife and cut the roll of dough into about 6 slices.
5. Set the Airfryer XXL to 180 degrees and bake the cinnamon rolls for about 8 minutes until brown and crispy.
Preparation for the glaze:
- Mix the powdered sugar with the milk and vanilla extract and spread it over the cinnamon rolls.
- Really, you are going to make people so happy with this. The tastiest, most comforting winter dish you can think of. And really easy to make.
