This is what you want to drink as an afternoon snack: Punch bowl

Say wine, snacks or haute cuisine and the foodies of online food magazine FavorFlav know where to drink, how to eat it and what to cook. This time our chefs serve you: the tastiest fruit punch for the weekend.

Imagine that all the corona measures have been lifted. That we can organize a barbecue and that everyone is allowed to come. That it is sunny and that the first skewers on the grill already smell delicious. That the children are playing together on the swings and in the play tent without fighting. What is missing in this picture? Fruit punch with a strong punch. No problem, you can whip that up in no time.

Punch literally means a hit. If you're not prepared, this punch will hit you in the face too. That's because of the vodka, which you don't taste very well at first due to the sweet fruit juice and the 7Up. Don't be fooled, it kicks in hard. Ice cubes in, a bit of fruit and book a day off for tomorrow...

Ingredients

  • 2 bottles of 7Up
  • 2 glasses of double drink
  • 2 glasses of pineapple juice
  • 2 glasses of vodka
  • 1 bottle of sparkling wine
  • 3 boxes of raspberries
  • a bunch of mint, chopped (and a few leaves for decoration)
    ice cubes

How do you make punch with a strong punch?

  1. Mix everything together in a large bowl.
  2. Decorate the glasses with a raspberry and a mint leaf – or not.
  3. Do you want to make the punch in advance? Don't mix it yet, but prepare everything. The soda and the sparkling wine lose their fizz if you prepare the punch too early, and the raspberries won't look any better for it.
  4. Be careful that children don't take a nice glass of the punch.
