five minute journal

Every week I tell myself to take more rest, and every week I fail miserably again. Yes, even in these corona times. In March, everyone was very dissatisfied with the lockdown, but also ‘grateful’ that they finally didn't have to do anything. Because yes, you couldn't do much either. And I was one of those people, and also one who proclaimed to keep this up after the lockdown. Completely failed, because my schedule has been packed for months again and I also forget to write everything down.

Really taking a moment to reflect on the day, on a moment, on a feeling... I don't really do that. Far too little, in any case. And that's why this is an ideal solution for me, and maybe for you too. The Five Minute Journal is filled in every day, in — you’ll never guess — five minutes. It can of course take less time, but it can also take more. You answer simple questions (which I always find nice, because I never knew where to start with my thoughts in my diary). What went well today? What are you happy about and what could be better?

A moment of peace and really taking a moment to reflect on what is happening around you and what you are experiencing. I wish everyone a Five Minute Journal. Can it rot for you.
