Today we wish maqu bracelet
Go to an average terrace in Saint-Tropez and nine out of ten women are wearing the same, expensive bracelet. Nothing wrong with that, but the founders of Maqé wanted something different. A piece of jewelry should not be a status symbol but a statement. It should be unique, come to life through the wearer. Ethically produced and also wearable and waterproof. From opera to kite adventure and everything in between.

The idea for a personal bracelet collection was born in Bali, and it became concrete in Ibiza. Karjan and Kim, the free-spirited creators of Maqé, listed what their bracelets needed to meet.

It had to exude understated luxury, the gemstones used had to be ethically mined, and the origin of all materials had to be known. It was also important that they made their own unique stone cuts, so the shape of the stone will not be seen anywhere else. The braided bands are adorned with semi-precious stones in recycled gold or platinum. And they must be strong, because these women want to move forward, upward, and dance through life.

A new, slimmer bracelet has been added to their collection, and I am in love with the green sapphire 18K rose gold.

They also have great pieces for men (finally a nice Father's Day gift), and starting Monday, there will be a like-and-win action on their Instagram so I would say: make your move.
