  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 100 gr chocolate chips

Preheat your waffle iron and optionally grease it with a bit of baking spray.

1. Mix the baking soda, flour and salt in a large bowl.
2. In another large bowl, mix the melted butter, egg, egg yolk, sour cream and vanilla.
3. Then add the mashed banana until it is combined (it doesn't have to be completely smooth).
4. Then gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until everything is mixed. Finally, 'fold' the chocolate chips into the batter.
