We also want a cheese subscription

Say wine, snacks or haute cuisine and the gourmands at online food magazine FavorFlav know where to drink, how to eat it and what to cook. This time our cheffies serve you: the cheese subscription that fits through your mailbox.
Is your cheese always gone in no time, going to the supermarket (now) not really your hobby, and do you prefer to sink your teeth into creamy farmhouse cheese? Then I have good news for you.
You can now take Uniek! or a cheese subscription at De Firma Kaas. Directly from the farmer through the mailbox, plop, on your mat, on your plate, on your sandwich, or at the drinks. Simple, right? You can choose from three different types: young matured, matured, and old. Additionally, you choose whether you want to receive a package weekly or bi-weekly. There are various farmers affiliated from which you can choose. The same cheese from one favorite farmer is also among the possibilities.
In any case: the farmhouse cheese is handmade on the farm and made with fresh, raw milk from their own cows. Moreover, the cheese is naturally aged. Each farmer uses their own authentic recipe for this.
How it works
Every week, De Firma Kaas picks up the cheese from the farms. After the cheese is cut and labeled, PostNL takes care of the shipping of the cheese packed in a special mailbox box. So you don't have to stay home for it. Inside the box is a personally signed card from the farmhouse cheese team. The cheese paper is also included, in which you can store the cheese longer.
What kind of farmers are they then?
The collaborating farmers are spread all over the Netherlands. One cheese farm has been around for a hundred years, another is run by the fourth generation of cheesemakers, and the third is the teamwork of a complete family. Because De Firma Kaas, on the one hand, purchases cheese directly from these farmers and, on the other hand, offers cheese directly to the customer, they eliminate unnecessary links in the chain. Additionally, the affiliated farmers are paid significantly better. Nice, right?
Why cheese is yellow
Do you ever wonder about this too? Through firma kaas you can sign up for a free three-day mini steam course ‘Learn all about cheese’. You will receive three emails with practical information about cheese, such as: why is cheese actually yellow? Is there a difference between farmhouse raw milk and pasteurized milk? In short, learn more about cheese and enjoy it even more.
