What I did like about corona

No, no no, I'm not going to pull a Doutzentje by praising corona here, are you belatafeld. In the meantime, I'm developing a strong hatred towards the virus. It's all taking too long for me. Too many deaths, too much pressure on healthcare, too many lovely old people who have to manage without visitors and also a lot of children with disabilities living in homes who have to do without visits from their parents. But we have complained. I also want to mention a few nice things that I have experienced during this period. And I hope that we can wrap it up with that. Because enough is enough, Covid-19. Now back to your corner, ksjjt.
1. I remember what to do with unequal fractions
Yes, that's what you get from home teachers. So now you know that again.
2. The children's coat rack has new hooks
They were all broken and never replaced, but now we had time for that.
3. I received a postcard. A just-for-fun postcard. From my dear Adeline. Because it's corona.
4. I skipped happily towards my first (one-on-one and at a safe distance) sports lesson. Yes, that's what home quarantine does to you.
5. I read books.
6. I have built an intensely good relationship with the guys from the landfill.
7. I ran four times a week with my friend L.
8. There is an extra craft table in the room and I don't mind that.
9. I discovered new workplaces like the picnic table in the dunes near Overveen.
10. I saw teachers dancing on my doorstep, the school principal drank rosé in the front yard, an Easter breakfast was delivered by my oldest child's school, we baked cookies for the lovely neighbor a few houses down and made and delivered drawings. The little things brought happiness.
11. I have never refueled so little in my adult life.
12. I was allowed wine every day.
13. I have never seen the sky so clear blue on beautiful days.
14. I have never spent so much time with my daughters and aside from the fact that I sometimes wanted to jump off the roof after hearing ‘mama’ for the 731st time, I soaked up this time because before you know it, we will drown again in our agendas.
15. I have seen so much love and warmth on social media. I hope corona disappears very soon, but that we can hold on to love and warmth and keep our focus on the little things.
