What we learned from the Parisiennes during Fashion Week
With Copenhagen, New York, London, and Milan behind us, there is only one fashion city left: oui oui, that’s Paris. And aside from the most insane shows from the likes of Dior, Chloé, Isabel Marant, Balenciaga, Celine, Hermès, Valentino, Chanel, Miu Miu and as the very last of this season Louis Vuitton, there is of course much more happening in the French capital. Fashion people fill the streets, and (thank god) it’s the street style photographers who capture the best looks for us. From the gilet at Caro Daur to the perfect rain cap, these are the seven models we learned from the Parisiennes. I say: copy and paste that style, and you’ll be more than bien next season.
The denim suit from Dior is both front row and on the street the crowd favorite of the fashion victims.
The rather dusty gilet is suddenly no longer dusty but super cool
Stella’s Bucket Bag or the bag drum is a hit
Hair caps are a thing in Paris too and umbrellas are so 2019
From head to toe in knits is the new ton-sur-ton
A sleeve that goes over your fingertips is the new fashion statement
