Wake up with Moïse Trustfull

Wake up with… Moïse Trustfull

Let Moïse Trustfull slide, you know. As a mother, Quinty, you really don't have to worry about that at all. She launched her jewelry line as a teenager, drove around in her little car with a big ByMoïse sticker on the side door, and just adds everything she likes to her business portfolio, like now a clothing line. When it comes to distributing energy and entrepreneurial spirit, she was definitely at the front because man, that woman is a volcano. To get everything done, she must be from the early-riser family.

Moïse, tell me. What time does the alarm go off in the Trustfull household? Or do you not need that?
This is actually very different, I love waking up early and exercising, but this often doesn't happen. In the evenings, I am always the most productive, so I find an early alarm my biggest enemy. On average, I would say the alarm goes off at half past nine. And then first a cup of coffee with coconut milk before I can do anything. Haha.

By the way, I'm really curious if you actually have a real alarm clock or if you just use your phone for that.
So I've had a real alarm clock for half a year now. I find it very nice because I sleep much more peacefully when my phone is not in the bedroom. My boyfriend finds the ‘regular’ alarm clock very annoying, so when I sleep with Kaj, it's his phone that goes off. That sound is the worst thing ever. When I'm somewhere during the day and that sound goes off, I always look around angrily, haha.

Are you team morning person or team I turn off the light last?
More ‘I turn off the light last’. I can be a morning person if I've slept well. By well, I mean: I've gone to bed before eleven, but as I said, that rarely happens.

I'm so curious about your morning ritual. Take me to your bedroom, Moïse, on a weekday, just after you've woken up.
When the alarm goes off, it's standard ten minutes of cuddling with Kaj and/or my cat (his name is Douwe Bob, hahaha). Then straight to the kitchen for a cup of coffee, double espresso with coconut milk (or oat milk, also good), and then it's either exercise or straight to the shower. I do my hair (as simply as possible, nice and easy) and put on my 26481 creams, usually no makeup. I almost never have breakfast at home, sometimes just a kiwi or if I have exercised, I make oatmeal. Then I race to a meeting or to the store.

There are people who immediately use the two minutes of brushing their teeth to do a wallsit. I have a Philips DiamondClean that brushes for exactly two or three minutes (on the extended program) and I sometimes do it, haha. Do you have any teeth brushing rituals?
No, I have promised myself that a hundred times, but it just doesn't work. I once got exercises from the physio for my ankles that I could do while brushing my teeth. I think I did that for two days, then never again.
