You would be princess Beatrice

I can't help but think of Princess Beatrice this week. It had to be her week. Her day, her week, her year. She was to marry her, it must be said, handsome fiancé Edoardo Mozzi. He is originally of Italian nobility. A telling detail is that this Edoardo has a four-year-old son. The two have been together for two years.

In May, the day was supposed to be, but COVID put a stop to that. Last Saturday, the marriage was finally solemnized. Still much smaller than intended, but the origin of that probably lies more with her father than with the pandemic.

She looked stunning and her entire look was a grand, jubilant tribute to her grandmother. She wore a dress from 1961 belonging to her grandmother, she wore the tiara that Elizabeth also wore during her wedding (and which is rumored that Meghan also wanted to wear, but was not allowed to, which made Meghan furious) and oh, she just looked amazing.

She could certainly use the support of her grandmother, as it must not have been easy. I wonder how Edoardo's parents approach their son's future father-in-law (Edward, that is). How must it feel if your father can give you away, but is not mentioned in the press release and also ‘shines in absence’ in the official photos.

Just when you think you have wiped away everything murky from your beautiful day, an anonymous witness appears in the media saying that Ghislaine Maxwell calls your father ‘randy Andy’, who is known in the Epstein household for his perverse hobbies that would all turn out to be on camera.

It will undoubtedly not be the honeymoon weeks she dreamed of as a young girl.
