Yaaa, here is your biggest McDonald's fan again. Well, I've treated you to some MacHacks, today I have some fun facts for you again. Or what am I saying, facts? Secrets is a better word. Ten secrets even, which will only make your McDonald's order and experience better. Just wait and see.
These are actually ten secrets that employees won't tell you, but that are really handy to know. I would say: try them all out.
1. You can get everything ‘fresh’ if you ask for it
Fun fact: they are not allowed to refuse this. So if you absolutely don't want a Big Mac that might have been sitting there for a while, you don't have to twist yourself into knots to ask for it without pickles, sauce on the side, or that kind of nonsense. No: just ask for one fresh off the press. Works for other items on the menu too, by the way.
2. The Egg McMuffin really does consist of egg
Yes, you might be thinking: how on earth do you get an egg into such a perfect shape? But the Maccie can do it. The secret is the way the egg is cracked, and the ring in which they are cooked. Additionally, they are steamed and fried at the same time. It's actually something you can try at home too.
3. Walking through the drive-thru won't get you anywhere
McDonald's employees are instructed not to help anyone at the drive-thru who is not in a motorized vehicle. So no, biking is not an option either. Just stand in line inside.
4. You can mix ’n match with the sauce
Want a cheeseburger with that delicious Big Mac sauce? Just ask: because that’s possible. Or just a Big Mac with only ketchup? That’s fine too. Quite fun to try once.
5. But don't expect them to find you the coolest guest
No, those special requests are just plain annoying, let's be honest. So they are granted, but not necessarily with love.
6. You might want to avoid the apple pie...

This is really a kind of myth that goes around at every chain. Starbucks supposedly has one, the Maccie too, actually every chain you can think of. But it doesn't exist. Sorry to burst your bubble. The above tips apply here too: just ask if you're curious whether something is possible.
10. If you order one of the burgers of the moment fresh, be prepared to wait a while
The special burgers also take the longest to make. Especially the chicken burgers: they can take up to eight minutes (!) if you want it fresh. Well, then it’s not really fast food anymore, is it?
