Body language: this is how you can tell if someone is in love

flirting during a date

Of course, it can be seen from a hundred meters away whether people are in love. But what if you want to test for yourself whether someone is into you or not? There are some small signals that reveal whether a person is in love or (not) yet.

Did you know that men and women determine who they can best mate with as soon as they enter a room? It seems to be a biological thing. You could call it reproductive drive, because it feels a bit banal. Of course, that says nothing about love. However, these individuals continue to seek confirmation from each other as long as they are in the space. Remarkably, people in a happy relationship do this too. With another, yes.

Even before you say anything, signals are already flying around. For example, someone who hooks their fingers through the loops of their pants draws attention to the crotch, which may indicate dominance. Rubbing the flat hand on the neck is a sign of discomfort. But how do you see if someone has romantic interest in you and if love is in the air physically? A woman tends to run her hands through her hair, like playing with a lock of hair. This literally releases pheromones, so she is putting everything on the line.

A man is quicker to touch someone to transfer testosterone. Did you know that a man does this when kissing too? This primarily indicates sexual interest for both, but you can see love if you pay close attention. Eye contact is still the clearest signal, especially if it lasts a bit longer. In love, people's gazes linger on each other a bit longer, which is easy to notice for yourself but also for others. They also tend to turn towards each other more often; it may be that their toes are subtly pointing towards someone in the company.

When can you forget it? The wrinkling of the nose, even if minimal, indicates contempt for the other. The chance is small that a relationship will develop in this case or that love will endure.
