Do you find €2000,- just a bit too much for a coat?

Oh, who doesn't dream of the iconic Max Mara coat? The 101801 is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year and is just as popular as it was at its launch in 1981. Suddenly there was a coat that wasn't stiff, but made of wool and/or cashmere or a blend of three fabrics. It's a classic that appears in a different version every year so you always stay hungry for something new. Sometimes it has a belt, sometimes it's disguised as a teddy bear. It really comes in other colors, but the camel (a marriage between black and gray) is always acceptable and never wrong.
The skilled people at Max Mara work 128 minutes on a coat and that, plus the high-quality material, means that the coat is only yours for a small monthly salary.
I can well imagine that you find that just a bit too much. And that's why I have excellent news. At Amsterdam The Style Outlets (definitely a recommendation if you love nice brands for a low price) they have a mega store of Intrend. And now Intrend might not mean much to you, but Intrend is the mother of all Max Mara brands. And what do you find there? A lot of fantastic dresses, sweaters, accessories, but also... And now the drumroll can really start... The 101801. For a fraction of the price. The only thing is that the Max Mara label has probably been cut out because a chic brand like Max Mara doesn't want to offend its clientele who paid the full price, but that really doesn't matter to us at all, does it?
