Expedition Robinson: The Aftertalk

expedition Robinson episode 28
Yes, we are almost at the end of the month. Will the semi-final really be next week? My gut feeling says yes, but well, my gut feeling also said that the hospitality industry would have been open for a long time and that they would find out in The Hague that those measures are not all that meaningful, but look where we are. And really, it's great that Expedition Robinson never seems to stop, because they are dragging me through the lockdown just fine.

And, just one more thing: when will team Thursday night be brought together with team Sunday night? I assume we won't have two finals?

1. Oh nooo. Robbert, don't cry. I can't handle this. And that thin, emaciated little body. So sad.

2. Just a few days until the semi-final... Haaallelujah. We as Robinson viewers also deserve a festive meal for our endurance, you know. I'm pouring a glass of wine for this victory.

3. Well, hey, how surprising. She has mixed feelings about something. The girl should be joyfully happy once in a while.

4. So dyslexic as a... Door. Door? Yeah, no, that's fine.

5. But honestly: without a few octopus tentacles, this swimming test would have been genuinely impossible. You'd sink to the bottom from exhaustion.

6. Nice spot chosen. But my goodness, what a tremendously tough test again. I haven't thought once this season that I could handle it all too.

7. ‘His technique is for-mi-da-bel.’ Yes, water polo is really good for something. If you wanted to play football like everyone else, you have nothing to gain from Expedition there.

8. Hello. Helloooo, makers? I want to be able to play along, let us see those letters well too.

9. Good job, Robbert. Just go puzzle with nine letters. You can do this.

10. Formation. FORMATION! It's formation. Okay, sorry neighbors, I seriously shouted this at the TV. My cat ran away. Disappointed, I think.

11. It's easy to talk (shout, in my case) when you see those good eight letters right in front of you.

12. But... It's really clear as day that Annemiek is going to be voted out, right? I can't imagine that JayJay and Robbert will vote for each other.

13. Loooove Do. The first one who wants to use her votes completely selflessly to save others.

14. This was really the most awkward transition to the commercial ever. Why are Robbert and Annemiek so shocked? Because if Annemiek is shocked, it can't be about her, right? What. Is. Happening. Here.

15. Please let it be an unexpected vote from Do to keep one of the two men from leaving. That would be so cool.

16. Heee, Annemiek made a joke. And she has self-deprecation. And takes her loss lightly. And is... Positive? Are we suddenly going to like her just before she gets voted out?

17. Pfff, it really is getting more and more exciting, you know. I long for the times when I complained that Expedition Robinson lasted so long. We are suddenly almost at the end.

18. Wait a minute. That shock was seriously because of... Chocolate? I feel quite taken for a ride. No plot twist. Annemiek goes home. Nothing to worry about. No tension. Just: chocolate.

19. I seriously thought this Island Council would be mega exciting and it turned out to be the tamest one so far.

20. Just act normal. This is just intentionally hurting someone and making them sad. Do they seriously have to do that test on Winner's Island while hearing votes from their family? I think that's quite a lot to ask.

21. And, #durftevragen: why is Yuki the only one so unmanageable brown compared to the rest? Did he smuggle in a bronzer or something?

22. Alright, here are the funniest tweets in a row. Because they are just delightful every week.
